Bug Bungalow and Ladybug Lounge

These classrooms are organized into centers dedicated to specific learning tasks following The Creative Curriculum® System for Preschool. Activities throughout the day may include books on tape, sensory table, computer, numbers and math, process art, Voyages and Little Lambs Bible study, fine motor manipulatives, and cooking. Children gather at the carpeted area for the Group Meeting and group activities such as weather, calendar, Sharing Bags, music and movement, and storytelling.

Dramatic Playroom

Our playroom is devoted to freedom in imaginative and dramatic play. Some play activities we provide are a fully stocked kitchen, doll nursery, tool bench, dress-up corner, Lego table, large building blocks, stationary car, balance beam, dinosaurs, dolls, cars, ponies, and wall-length easel for creative expression.

Rainforest Retreat

This inviting classroom is much the same as the Bug Bungalow and Ladybug Lounge. It is a wonderful space to dream and learn. The rainforest mural with monkeys, tree frogs, elephants, and other rainforest creatures accompany children as they learn or stretch out on pillows under a jungle canopy to read.

Playground: The Outdoor Classroom

Children are exposed to fresh air and outdoor play as weather permits. A large play structure with three slides, tower, and more, plus sandbox, bike path, balls and more keep children busy in a quiet tree-rich environment adjacent to Kleinstuck Preserve where students enjoy nature hikes and exploration.
